A DAY of preening and pampering is taking place at a Worcester hotel next month in aid of a national bird charity.
The RSPB will be hosting its first ever pamper evening on Thursday, November 6, between 6.30pm and 10pm at the Whitehouse Hotel on Foregate Street.
Some of the best local therapists have donated their time for the charity on the evening, and people taking part will be able to have two 20-minute treatments, including reiki, reflexology, Indian head massage, or make-up tips from Clarins, for just £10.
Sharon Boardman, people engagement officer for the RSPB, said: “We think you deserve a little pampering so come along for an evening of relaxation and fun, all while benefiting wildlife conservation.
“We are trying to open ourselves up to a wider audience so people get to know what the RSPB are about and what we do.
“The pamper session is a great chance to relax before the Christmas period takes hold while also helping wildlife in Worcester. While you wait for your turn, you can also browse – and buy – a selection of fine Italian handbags, jewellery and fashion accessories.
“Maybe you'll find some nice presents for somebody you know,” she added.
