A WOMAN and a child have been rushed to hospital after a two-car crash today.
The incident involving a Ford Ka and Skoda Fabia happened at the junction of Midland Road and Wyld’s Lane, in Fort Royal, Worcester at about 8.20am.
A woman was treated for rib and neck injuries and a child aged under ten for minor injuries.
Wyld’s Lane was closed and traffic diverted although the wreckage was due to be removed later today.
John Hawker, West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust spokesman, said: “Both injured parties were put on spinal boards and fitted with neck collars as a precaution and taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.”
Their condition is not known.
