WITH Christmas less than 12 weeks away, Cards for Good Causes shops open in Worcester this month.
The festive stores at St Helen’s Church, in Fish Street, off High Street, and Old St Martin’s Church in the Cornmarket, will sell greeting cards, gift wrap and stocking fillers on behalf of various charities.
This year, local charities set to benefit include The Friends of Worcester Cathedral and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
St Helen’s will open from 10am to 4pm from Thursday, October 30, to Tuesday, December 16, and Old St Martin’s will open from 9.30am to 4.30pm from Friday, October 31, to Friday, December 12.
Anyone interested in volunteering should call Julie Smith on 01905 821580.
