A MAN has been charged with the murder of Richard Perkins who died in an arson attack on Monday.
The 50-year-old, who has not been named, faces charges of murder and arson with intent to endanger life.
He remains in police custody and will appear at Worcester Magistrates Court tomorrow.
A teenage boy arrested in connection with the incident has been released without charge.
The house fire started at 1.30am on Monday in The Glade, Malvern, and claimed the life of 37-year-old Richard Perkins.
His wife and three step-children all managed to escape the blaze.
Two people remain in Worcestershire Royal Hospital in a serious condition, and one is in a critical condition.
