THIRTY-FIVE plucky people have jumped out of a plane and raised thousands of pounds for St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester.
The sponsored tandem skydive took place in July at Hinton Airfield in Oxfordshire and raised £11,500 for the charity.
Fund-raiser Joanna Street said: “It was an amazing day watching everyone leaping out of the aircraft above the clouds and parachuting down with an expert skydiver.
The money raised will go to the hospice in Wildwood Drive which cares for patients and families who live with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Next year’s skydive will be held on Saturday, August 1.
