TRAGIC: Richard Perkins
TWO people remain in custody and are being questioned about a fire at a house in Malvern which killed a man.
A spokesman for West Mercia Constabulary’s South Worcestershire division said that nobody had been charged in connection with the fire which happened at The Glade, Malvern, on Monday, and that its cause is still under investigation as part of the on-going inquiry.
Thirty-seven-year-old Richard Perkins died in the blaze and his 17-year-old daughter is on a life-support machine fighting for her life.
Katie’s mother, Roseann, and 18-year-old brother Ben are both believed to still be seriously ill in hospital.
