A SIXTH form student at Pershore High School is celebrating success after winning the Young Photographer of the Year Competition 2008, organised by Hereford College of Art.
Francesca Potter, aged 16, is a year 12 photography student at the school.
She won first prize in category two (16-19 years) and will be awarded a £200 cash prize.
Her winning work will also form part of an exhibition at Hereford College of Arts to celebrate the competition and the winners. Francesca will also be given the opportunity to exhibit work as part of the Hereford Photography Festival 2009.
