A HEROIN addict who stole a child’s toy to fund his habit told the court he had suffered a relapse.
Dominic Arthur, 31, of Vicarage Court, Worcester, pleaded guilty to shoplifting before the city’s magistrates.
He was arrested after taking a £30 toy from the Early Learning Centre, in Chapel Walk, Worcester, on Saturday, October 11.
Arthur will now be sentenced for the theft and another offence of fraud by false representation, which he had admitted at an earlier hearing on Tuesday, October 7.
He is due back at Worcester Magistrates Court for probation reports on Wednesday, October 29.
