THE biker who died in a crash in Hanbury last week has been named by police.
Robert Alastair Newland died following the incident on Friday in which his silver Yamaha collided with a black Audi on the B4090 in Mere Green, Hanbury, near Droitwich.
The 45-year-old beer sales agent was single and lived in Feckenham.
A post mortem examination revealed Mr Newland died as a result of multiple injuries.
Coroner for Worcestershire, Geraint Williams, is expected to open an inquest into the death this afternoon.
A man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and released on police bail while inquiries continue.
