A REFRESHING experience awaits visitors to a museum holding its annual cider-making day.

Demonstrations with traditional equipment will take place outside the County Museum’s 300-year-old cider mill on Sunday.

Visitors who would like to donate some apples to the hopper are being told bring along a small bottle and take away some of the freshly squeezed juice.

There will also be demonstrations by a blacksmith and other traditional craftsmen including spinning, weaving and corn doll making.

The event, which runs from 11am until 5pm, will also feature falconry displays, morris dancers, as well as horse and carriage rides.

Worcestershire County Council’s visitor services officer Rachel Robinson said: “This is a fun, family day which gives visitors the chance to see cider being made the traditional way.”

Admission costs £4 adults, £2 concessions, and £10 for families based on two adults, two children.
