A MAN in his 70s has been airlifted to hospital after falling 10 feet from a ladder.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to an address in Worcester Road, Earls Croome, near Malvern, shortly before 12.45pm today.
It is believed the man, who has not been named, fell when a ladder broke underneath him.
An ambulance spokesman said: “The man was treated on scene for a fractured hip.
“He was given pain relief and immobilised using a neck collar and spinal board before being airlifted to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
