MALVERN Hills Conservators are expected to keep the current charges for using their car parks at the same level for the next financial year.
The charges of £2 per day for cars; £25 for an annual pass with £10 for an additional vehicle; £2 for a concessionary pass for those paying the conservators’ levy and £10 a day for coaches were set in 2003.
In the year to April 2008 the conservators’ net income from parking charges was £167,222 - a small increase on the 2006/07 figure of £164,866.
Conservators director Ian Rowat is recommending the existing charges are retained for 2009/10.
The issue will be discussed at a meeting of the Malvern Hills Conservators administration and resources committee on Thursday.
