BBC Training & Development Ltd, of Wood Norton, near Evesham, is in line for a top industry award.
It has beaten strong competition to win a place as a finalist in the Coaching Programme of the Year category at the World of Learning Awards 2008.
In association with the British Institute of Learning & Development and the Daily Mail, the awards recognise the highest standards of achievement within the learning and development industry and are acknowledged as the premier event for honouring learning-specific solutions.
Marcus Brigstocke, stand-up comic, writer, presenter and actor, as well as a regular on BBC4's The Late Edition and Radio 4, will be presenting the awards evening at a black-tie dinner on Wednesday, November 19 at the Paragon Hotel, Birmingham.
Andrew Gee, project manager for the awards, said: “They are the supreme accolade in the learning and development industry and the quality of entries for this category was extremely high, so it is a great testimony to the achievements of BBC Training & Development to have been selected as a finalist.”
