A PEDESTRIAN has died after being in collision with a car.
The man was knocked over on the A456 at Callow Hill, near Stourport-on-Severn, at 7.30pm on Friday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service dispatched a number of paramedics to the scene and the man, believed to be in his 60s, was treated at the scene for serious multiple injuries.
He was taken to Selly Oak Hospital's major trauma unit where doctors had been put on alert for his arrival.
The man, who was from the Oldbury area of the West Midlands, later died from his injuries.
PC Paul Bosley said: “This is a very sad and tragic incident and our thoughts are with the family.”
A number of witnesses have been spoken to but police would like to hear from anyone who saw the collision between the man and the Ford fiesta.

The driver of the car was checked over at the scene by paramedics, but did not require treatment.
