KIPPERS, porridge and fruit juice are better than toast and coffee for a breakfast designed to keep the brain healthy.
The importance of food to our mood was the theme of the World Mental Health Day in Worcester yesterday.
The event, organised by the Worcestershire Mental Health Network, was held at the Angel Centre in Angel Place.
It advised people on the importance of eating oily fish which contains brain-enhancing omega 3 oils as well as cutting down on caffeine, which is linked to anxiety, cravings, nervousness and depression.
Organisations such as the Worcestershire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust input information to the session.
