BUSINESSES affected by flooding will find support and advice at a free seminar.
With sponsorship from the Co-operative, Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service and Wychavon District Council have organised a half day seminar for companies in Worcestershire who have lost income or suffered damage to trade and confidence through recent flooding.
Issues to be covered at the event at Wychavon District Council Civic Centre, in Queen Elizabeth Drive, Pershore on Wednesday include:
- Flood and Water Safety – what to do to protect yourself and others
- Health – preventing harm and infection
- Business resilience – being prepared
- Business Continuity – recovery; returning to normal Experts from the fire service, Environment Agency, West Mercia Local Resilience Forum and council will give presentations and provide practical advice.
The two and a half hour long seminar will run at 10am and be repeated at 4pm.
