ART from all over the world will launch the opening of Worcestershire’s newest gallery.
The Grainloft Gallery in Bransford, near Worcester, will host its first exhibition this month, showcasing work from as far afield as Japan and Russia.
Worcester’s Paul Dunmall, printmaker and jazz musician, is one local artist contributing.
He said: “It’s great to be exhibiting with a remarkably wide selection of printmakers – both local, like Tom Cornwell who prints limited editions of lino cuts as well as Japanese master engraver Shigeki Tomura, who has been creating the most exquisite prints for a lifetime.”
Another local artist, Rachael Griffiths, has co-ordinated the exhibition that runs from Saturday, October 18, until Saturday, November 22.
The Grainloft Gallery, based at The Fold in Bransford, will open from 10am to 5pm Wednesday to Saturday, and 11am to 4pm on Sunday.
