THE Granary hotel and restaurant in Shenstone, near Kidderminster, is looking for an organic gardener.
The restaurant is searching for someone willing to grow vegetables in the field next door to its kitchens.
Owner Richard Fletcher said: “We’d like to find someone locally who would be willing to manage the land, and hopefully grow a selection of vegetables we could use in our dishes here.
“We’re quite flexible about how the arrangement could work.
"The person we’re looking for could be a green-fingered individual who enjoys the challenge of growing a variety of veg, or they could be from a company who is already growing organic produce and would be able to do something on our land specifically for The Granary.”
The plot is suitable for ploughing and farming and large enough to accommodate a range of produce.
The restaurant was recently awarded an AA double rosette, making it the joint highest rated in Worcestershire.
