MYSTERY still surrounds the death of a man whose body was discovered on a bonfire.
David Langdon’s body was discovered in his garden in Wormelow, Herefordshire, on Thursday, August 14. Police trying to trace the 40 year-old’s movements believe he may have been planning to travel abroad and spoke with a lorry driver in Ross-on-Wye in the month before his death.
A poster is being circulated to truck stops around the UK.
It reads: “We are keen to speak to anyone who has knowledge of David's travel plans prior to his death.
“We are particularly keen to speak to the Haulage Community, as we have information that David was arranging to get a lift to the continent in weeks leading up to his death.”
A post-mortem examination proved inconclusive and Mr Langdon’s death is being treated as unexplained. Three women and a man arrested in connection wih the death have been released on bail.
