PATRICK and Bernadine is billed as a kitsch play about finding your place in the world.
Following a sell-out run in 2007, theatre company Something and Nothing are on tour again and bringing their new comedy to the Courtyard in Hereford on Saturday, September 27.
The play showers its audience with glitz, glamour and enchantment as they follow Patrick and Bernadine, a Brummie cabaret duo, dragging their tired act around British seaside resorts. When Bernadine sets her sights on Pop Idol stardom, Patrick is left behind to pick up the pieces.
Birmingham-based Something and Nothing is passionate about presenting arts across the West Midlands. Championing accessible contemporary drama, they aim to create a relationship with their audience – much like stand up comedy, cabaret and pantomime. The new show is written by Dan Hagley and directed by Lorna Laidlaw.
