AN entire month of rainfall may deluge Worcestershire tomorrow with storms and squally winds also forecast.
A low pressure system moving in from the Atlantic is responsible with weather expert Paul Damari predicting up to 40mm (1.5 ins) of rain falling on Friday, resulting in possible flash flooding.
Mr Damari said: “We’ll have between 20mm (0.7 ins) and 40mm - almost September’s entire rainfall in a day.
“And we’ve already had about 20mm earlier this week - so put it together.”
He added the rain could start falling at about 4am and continue right through until about 4pm.
The weekend is set to be a damp squib with the wet weather into Saturday, easing slightly on Sunday, and temperatures at about 17C (62F).
