EMERGENCY repairs have been started in Kidderminster after part of a town road collapsed.
The ring road - southbound between Coventry Street and Comberton Hill - has closures on lane two as well as the inner lane of the Coventry Street roundabout.
The lane closures came into force at 9:30am today and are due to remain in place until Tuesday.
A spokeswoman for Worcestershire County Council said: "The road is still open with one lane closed to motorists whilst we manage a substantial and progressive road collapse.
"We will endeavour to open the road as soon as possible."
