MEMBERS of St John Ambulance are going to be gearing themselves up for a busy day in October.
Cyclists of all ages are invited to take part in the Bredon Hill Bikeaway, which will have four different routes to choose from.
Following last years successful event, the Pershore Division have organised an event from Sunday, October 12.
Riders can take part in the beginners route which takes in a leisurely five-and-a-half miles, and the Lounge Lizards Route, a relaxing nine-mile ride.
The family route will be 16 miles long and for the more active, the adventurous route which is a challenging but exciting 47 miles - which will provide cyclists with delightful sights of the Bredon Hills area.
Starting from Deer Park Hall, at Eckington, near Pershore, the Bikeaway, supported by Wychavon District Council, and Deer Park Hall – promises to be a thoroughly enjoyable day.
Tony Haines, divisional superintendent said: “We are really excited about this event, and sincerely hope that people continue to support us and the voluntary work which we do for our local community.”
