A FLYPAST by an RAF spitfire will be the main event at a horticultural show this weekend.
The Alfrick and Lulsley show and fete is on Saturday and there are many events to entertain the family.
It will be opened by Antique Roadshow’s Henry Sandon, MBE, at 12.30pm.
Visitors to the event in Alfrick, near Worcester, will be able to view vegetables, fruit, arts and crafts in the horticultural marquee, watch the companion dog show and browse the stalls, games and raffles.
Other events include dancers, music and a martial arts demonstration, and children can enjoy a carousel ride, bouncy castle and much more.
Organisers want to hear from anyone willing to take part in the tug of war competition. If you are interested, call David Hughes on 01886 833049.
Show chairman Bridget Lewis said: “We want people to come along, forget the credit crunch and have some fun.”
Entrance is £3 for adults, £1 for children and senior citizens and under fives go free.
