WHETHER you’re looking for a fresh working challenge or a different employment route the Worcester News Jobs and Careers Fair could give you the answers you need.

The fair caters for people looking for vacancies, new opportunities or academic courses to take the important next step on their career path.

More than 20 exhibitors will be at Worcester’s historic Guildhall offering help, advice, and information from 10am until 4.30pm on Thursday, September 25.

The event, now in its fifth year, has gone from strength-to-strength with more than 3,000 people attending last year, looking for education and college courses, full-time and part-time jobs and new careers.

Recruitment agencies, colleges, universities and many of the city’s big employers will be hosting stands offering advice and guidance.

There will also be different work sectors represented at the fair, including organisations that work with children, young people, families and people with special needs.

Charities and groups looking for volunteers and carers will be on hand and the Worcester News is hosting a stand for people interested in jobs with your local newspaper.

Following the big attendance at the year’s first fair in March, organisers believe its biggest strength lies in bringing together the variety of different organisations making up the employment market.

Jodie Varney, event coordinator for the Worcester News, said: “We have a good cross section of exhibitors and we take care to ensure we have what people want, which is what makes the event so popular.

“Job-seeking can be a difficult and often stressful task, it is much easier to search when there is a range of vacancies and courses all gathered under one roof.”
