POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted by a group of men outside a pub.
The assault happened on Monday, August 25, at 11.30am, outside the Gardener’s Arms pub in The Strand, Charlton, near Pershore.
It is not known how many men assaulted the victim.
Officers are also seeking the public’s help in identifying a red vehicle seen driving slowly past the premises at approximately 10.30pm.
“There is nothing to directly link this vehicle with the assault, but it would help if we could eliminate it from our enquiries,” said a police spokesman.
Anyone who believes they can help the investigation is asked to call police on 08457 444 888, extensions 3400 or 3403, quoting 799S/250808. Information can also be given - anonymously and free-of-charge - to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
