ANYONE inspired by the BBC’s Last Choir Standing programme is invited to join a new Worcester choir.

Voices Unlimited will be a choir with a difference, in the sense that it will include an educational element as part of the membership package.

Each week the session will start with a class, followed by a standard rehearsal.

To join Voices Unlimited, you must be aged over 16, be able to hold a tune and a harmony part, have a desire to learn and a willingness to commit. Members who do not read music will be taught.

The new group hopes to provide an opportunity for those who love to sing contemporary repertoire but who do not have an outlet for their talents, or people wanting to explore harmony singing but who do not have a great deal of confidence or experience, or those who have masses of experience but fancy doing something new.

Auditions will be held between 2.30pm and 5pm on Sunday, September 14, at St Peter’s Baptist Church Centre, St Peters, Worcester.

Application forms are available from the choir manager – anne@voices-unlimited.co.uk Alternatively, potential members can turn up at 2.30pm on the day.
