EMPLOYEES from Worcester express delivery giant TNT are helping to improve the quality of life for thousands of youngsters after generating £2.3m to help disabled and disadvantaged children through the rugby charity Wooden Spoon. The businessto- business delivery company, based at Hartlebury Trading Estate, between Worcester and Kidderminster, has handed over its latest annual donation of £305,000 to Wooden Spoon, which is backed by British and Irish Rugby. As the biggest single supporter of the charity, TNT has seen its cash go to hundreds of deserving causes ranging from special schools to sophisticated medical units, sports facilities to play areas. England rugby team manager Martin Johnson accepted the record-breaking donation from TNT on behalf of Wooden Spoon. Above: Mr Johnson is pictured with Tom Bell and Wooden Spoon youngsters.
