A BLAZE at an electricity substation in Worcester has now been put out.
Firecrews were at the scene at 2.45pm for just under three hours when they were called to the Central Networks site near the St Peter’s roundabout .
It is not yet known what caused the fire.
A spokesman for Central Networks said: “The electricity would only have gone off for about a minute in around 6,000 homes and businesses in the area but it was diverted straight away. So no services have been affected.”
