A WOMAN was taken to hospital this afternoon after falling from a horse in Worcestershire.
The incident happened on Sands Road in Inkberrow, near Evesham, about 12.15pm.
An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and the County Air Ambulance from Strensham were dispatched to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival at the scene crews found a woman who had fallen to the ground after riding a horse.
“The woman, believed to be 38-years-old and from Redditch, suffered shoulder, hip and collarbone injuries.
“Crews treated the woman at the scene and she was transferred by land ambulance to Alexandra Hospital in Redditch for further assessment and treatment.”
