Ladder-fall woman taken to hospital
A woman was flown to hospital after falling almost 10ft from a ladder in Worcestershire.
The incident happened in Whitbourne, near Bromyard, shortly after 7pm on Tuesday.
An ambulance and the County Air Ambulance from Cosford were dispatched to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival at the scene crews found a woman who had fallen to the ground after being up a ladder.
“The woman, believed to be 38-years-old, suffered lower back pain and crews immobilised the woman using a neck collar and spinal board before she was flown to Worcestershiire Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
Her condition is not known.
