A CAR driver was taken to hospital after collapsing moments after a car crash.
Firefighters called to the single car incident on the A38 Roman Way in Droitwich alerted ambulance crews after the driver was overcome at about 6.30pm yesterday.
Two of the town’s fire engines initially responded with West Midlands Ambulance NHS Trust sending a rapid response vehcile, ambulance and doctor to the scene.
An ambulance spokesman said: “The patient had head pain and was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
