THE man found dead at his home in Upton-upon-Severn has been named by police.
He was 29-year-old David Welsh and lived alone in Rectory Road.
Mr Welsh’s body was found by police on Thursday, August 14.
A spokesman for south Worcestershire police said: “Edinburgh-born Mr Welsh, an unemployed builder’s labourer, lived alone.”
The Coroner for Worcestershire, Geraint Williams, has been informed and a post mortem examination will be held tomorrow.
An inquest is expected to be opened and adjourned shortly.
