A BOY had to be airlifted to hospital after suffering a neck injury whilst trampolining.
The 11-year-old was at Stourport-on-Severn’s sports centre in Dunley Road when the accident happened at 3.45pm on Saturday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and the County Air Ambulance from Strensham to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Crews arrived to find an 11-year-old boy who was lying on a trampoline.
“The boy had suffered a neck injury whilst using the equipment.
“Crews treated the boy on scene before immobilising him using a neck collar and spinal board before he was flown to Worcester Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
