FOLLOWING its recent acquisition by Kent-based Environmental Property Services, Worcester’s Advanced Peripheral Systems has opened new headquarters in the city.
Drawing on the additional resources and investment the new parent plc can provide, APS, which was established in Worcester in 1993, has moved to Venture Business Park in Weir Lane, Lower Wick.
Winners of the 2007 CBI growing business award for the use of technology in business, APS is one of the most modern and innovative electronic security companies in the UK and has built up an enviable reputation for designing, installing and maintaining state of the art systems such as CCTV, access control and fire alarms.
Andy Fox, managing director of APS, said: “This new collaboration offers great potential and scope for APS to widen its product base to new as well as existing customers and we are looking forward to growing the business over the forthcoming months”.
Paul Hutchinson, managing director of eps Security, added: “APS is an excellent strategic fit for eps not just because it expands our range of services but because of the remarkable similarities in our core values of being a modern, highly professional and service orientated business.”
