CHILDREN are being encouraged to take their favourite teddy bear along to Worcestershire County Council’s County Museum for a teddy bear trail and picnic.
There will be stalls, games, crafts and activities to join in with at the Teddy Time event, which will run from 11am until 5pm on Saturday, August 23, Sunday, August 24 and Monday, August 25.
There will also be a teddy tombola, a Pooh Bear trail to win a pot of honey, a dance party, and competitions to find the best dressed, biggest, smallest and dirtiest teddy bears.
On Saturday, Mary Baulk will be entertaining families with her puppet theatre, while the company Fantasy World will provide a disco, magic show and balloon modelling workshops on Monday.
The museum at Hartlebury Castle, Hartlebury, near Kidderminster, will also be open.
Admission to the museum and the event is £4 adults, £2 children or £10 for a family ticket (two adults and two children), plus £1 per child to take part in the Pooh Bear Trail.
