POLICE are staying tight-lipped about the reasons behind a search at a flat near Worcester city centre.
A team of officers wearing gloves were searching a residential flat above Worcester Reptiles in Lowesmoor for much of the day on Tuesday.
The flat above is not connected to the shop.
Police arrived at about 7am and finished combing the two-bedroom flat later the same day.
A police spokesman said: “The search is linked to another incident but for policing reasons we’re not prepared to say what that was.
“There’s no need for anyone living locally to be concerned.”
