ART fans in Worcester have the opportunity to experience nature in a unique style over the coming weeks.
An exhibition of surrealist paintings by an artist from North-West England, known as Reverend A Molotov, is on display until Saturday, September 6 at Spine Skate Shop’s gallery in The Hopmarket, Worcester.
The show ‘Evolution’ displays some of the artist’s older work alongside his newest paintings which portray references to human nature and animals in a ‘pop-surrealist’ style.
Reverend A Molotov said: “I like to use my memories, thought and feelings, and mix the everyday with the surreal to produce my artwork in all it’s forms, from paintings to T-shirts”.
Pop surrealism, or lowbrow art, is an interesting art movement which has sense of humour, often makes sarcastic comment and is gathering popularity.
Spine Skate Shop opens Tuesday to Friday, from 10.30am to 5.30pm and during the exhibition all artwork is for sale.
