LIBRARIES across Worcestershire have launched a photography competition this summer.
As part of the National Year Of Reading, libraries are looking for people of all ages to send in a photograph of where they like to read. The libraries also want to know what makes reading special for them.
All entries will be displayed in libraries and the winner will receive either a day at a school of photography or a photographic portrait.
Chairman for Worcestershire County Council Alwyn Davies said: “This is a great competition for budding photographers and book worms. Reading is an essential part of everyone’s lives and we all have our own special place that we take our favourite book.”
Ruth Foster, Worcestershire County Council’s Library and literacy manager said: “There are some great prizes, so why not take part?”
The competition ends on Tuesday, September 30.
