FOR couples planning the perfect wedding, there isn’t a better place to visit then the Worcester News Wedding Fair held at the Fownes Hotel.
Planning is well under way for the event being held later this month – and it’s sure to be packed full of businesses who can help you plan your big day.
The venue, on City Walls Road, Worcester, will be packed with exhibitors from all over the county, and you will be able to find the dress of your dreams, some stunning jewellery, flowers and everything you could wish to pull your wedding theme together.
Cerys McCreanor, owner of Magenta Designs, said they were looking forward to taking part in the fair for the third year running. “It really will be special, especially as it is going to be one of the first wedding fairs of the autumn season, so brides can come and see the latest fashions and colours on offer,” she said.
The company offers bespoke, hand-crafted wedding stationery, which can help couples with everything from save-the-date cards to invitations and place setting cards. All can be tailored to their wedding theme and colours.
Joining the many exhibitors for the first time will be the company Unique to You, and owner Alyson Staples said she is excited to meeting the brides-to-be. “This is our first Fownes Hotel wedding fair and we look forward to meeting all future brides. We offer a personal tailored service to ensure each bride enjoys every moment of choosing her wedding dress.
“We will show some beautiful samples from all our designers, including the Miss T Couture range, which is exclusive to us in this area.”
More than 40 exhibitors will be at the event and models will be gliding through the crowds to show you all the latest designs.
The wedding fair is being held on Sunday, August 31, between 11am and 3.30pm. Admission and parking is free. Visitors are advised to bring cash and chequebooks as no credit card facilities will be available on the day.
