WORCESTER Beer Festival is sure to brew up a treat for visitors, according to one exhibitor.
Chris Gooch, of Teme Valley Brewery, said there would be a collective “sigh of relief” when this year’s bash at Pitchcroft gets under way on Thursday.
This time last year the location had been devastated by the summer’s floods, which forced the event to be cancelled.
Teme Valley also suffered in the floods, losing equipment and the knock-on effect of lost sales through affected pubs unable to place orders.
Mr Gooch said: “People are just looking forward to the event with double the expectation. Everybody who comes knows the very best is on offer.”
He urged people to support rural pubs in the area because many are still struggling to attract back their customers after last year’s floods.
The brewery, based at the Talbot Hotel, Knightwick, is bringing beers Spare Brass, T’Other and Talbot Blond to the festival.
