CELEBRITY TV stars are getting their kit on to help support children in Worcester.
Acorns Children’s Hospice has teamed up with Galaxy Radio and gathered stars from soaps Hollyoaks and Emmerdale to take to the pitch in an exciting football match this weekend.
Galaxy’s breakfast presenter Dan Kelly will be hosting the event to make sure none of the action is missed by the supporters.
Catherine Robinson, who has a daughter affected by a life-limiting illnesses, said “We hope everyone will support this exciting event, Mrs Robinson added: “We have had a massive amount of help from Acorns. You need that help so much. I wouldn’t survive without it.”
Mr Kelly said: “Galaxy is proud to be part of Acorns Celebrity Match Day, a brilliant way to raise much-needed money for an important cause”.
Whether you’re an avid football fan or just admiring the stars it is guaranteed to be a great day out.
This Allstar match is taking place at Halesowen Town Football Club on Sunday.
