MORE than 150 people enjoyed a ‘cheeky monkey’ tea party to raise money for the National Childbirth Trust (NCT).
The event at Leigh and Bransford Memorial Hall, near Malvern, featured music, face-painting and fun and games for youngsters.
Organiser Caroline Curtis thanked everyone who helped organise the event and everyone who came along to enjoy it for making it a “resounding success”.
She said the tea party was the most successful fundr-aising event the Malvern Hills branch had ever held.
She said: “It exceeded all my hopes. The generous gift of time and effort from our volunteers, friends, neighbours and my family, along with all the donations from local businesses, mean funds raised should easily exceed expectations and previous years’ totals.”
