FROM fresh flowers to home-made cakes - there will be a village fete atmosphere at Worcester’s Cripplegate Park today.
More than 350 exhibitors are taking part in the third City of Worcester Flower Show, starting at 1pm, showing flowers, prize fruit and vegetables, cakes, crafts, and photographs.
There will be a children’s trail, live music, the chance to learn about composting and opportunity to buy organic herbs and vegetable from farmer’s market stalls.
"The flower show has become a tradition in the city, and I am really looking forward to it," said organiser Linda Ohlson.
“I hope we attract a record crowd this year."
This year’s event, organised by Worcester City Council and the Friends of Cripplegate Park, is sponsored by St Peter's Garden Centre.
