A 25-year-old man has been spared a prison sentence after he admitted breaching a court order for assault.
Robert Jones, of Poundbank Road, Malvern, failed to keep appointments with the probation service during a 12-month community order, Worcester Crown Court heard.
Judge Patrick Thomas QC said he understood that work commitments were to blame - but stressed that a court order should take priority.
Adding three extra sessions on a probation-run domestic abuse programme, the judge warned that any further breach would result in jail.
