I left Sixways with very little voice left!! 10 minutes to go and we were 10 – 24 down I was not a happy Warriors supporter at all… Still yelling and chanting support most of the time, but I did shout something along the lines of “OK Warriors so what’s different this season then!” and they showed us!! 2 converted trys in 5 minutes!! Wow just amazing stuff.

Some of the Wasps players were on their knees with their heads in the grass at the end of the game . To be 24 – 10 up with 10 minutes to go and no win is not a good result for them and adding the to statistic that Wasps have NEVER won at Sixways… That’s the European Champions have never beaten us at home! Like that stat!

So next week it’s off to Gloucester to stand in The Shed with al the shed heads and hope the Warriors play with as much passion and skill as they did in last ¼ of Saturday’s game. Gloucester have a stat that they have never lost to us. Well not in the Premiership, we beat them at 7’s this year, but I think beating them at Kingsholm will be a very tall order indeed. But coming away with a bonus point would be better than we have done before! So here’s hoping!!

Going up to the club on Thursday to meet Ashley Rowden, a referee. He is a good ref and it’s always good to here a ref’s view on the game of rugby today, we have already heard from Chris White and Tony Spreadbury, both reffing in the World Cup at the moment. There is the added attraction of Gavin Quinnell taking questions too. Should be a good night.
