And this week I shall have to be on my best behaviour as my Dad will be sitting with me!!! I’ll last about 5 minutes before I start yelling at my usual level…
Dad is my rugby influence, so much so last weekend we sat and watched all 3 of the 6 nation’s games one after the other. He sort of supports Bath so it will be interesting. After the game there is a Q & A session in the Supporters bar with players from both teams, Danny Grewcock, Matt Powell are just 2 who will be there. Will have to get a couple of photos of my Dad with some of them.
It will be a 3 generation affair too as my daughter will be with us as well. She and I go to most of the games together and she in training to be as loud as me. She has got along way to go. There have a bin some decent scores in Worcester Bath games so there could be some trys to watch hopefully.
Many of the supporters I know are making plans for next season in National Division 1. Scoping out venues and weekends away, mostly in the South West.
Went to watch the Worcester U19’s beat the Leicester Tigers U19’s on Monday night. It was a good game. The Tigers coaching staff included Neil Back and Graham Roundtree, both England players with the former being a World Cup winner too. But even with that sort of quality doing the coaching Worcester still ran out winner 23 – 13. There are some very good prospects amongst the Academy, lets hope we get to see some of them in the Worcester first team in the future.
