A SMALL number of changes have been made to bin collections over the Christmas period - here's what's happening.
Three changes have been announced for bin collections for residents in Worcester.
People whose bins would normally be emptied on Wednesdays are being asked to put them out for collection on the following Saturdays.
If your bin would normally be emptied on Thursday 26 December, you should instead put it out for collection on Monday 30 December.
All other dates for domestic bin collection will remain the same.
Full list of changes (normal collection day):
- (December 24) No change (Green bin)
- (December 25) Changed to December 28 (Green bin)
- (December 26) Changed to December 30 (Green bin)
- (December 27) No change (Green bin)
- (December 31) No change (Black bin)
- (January 1) Changed to January 4 (Black bin)
- (January 2) No change (Black bin)
- (January 3) No change (Black bin)
You can put large cardboard boxes, Christmas cards (except glitter ones) and wrapping paper (excluding foil or glittery paper) in your green bin.
Tin foil and tinsel need to go in the black bin.
