The "UK’s most successful country act" is coming to Worcester.
Ward Thomas, made up of twin sisters, Catherine and Lizzy Ward Thomas, will perform an acoustic set at Huntingdon Hall on Saturday, February 8, featuring stripped-back versions of their songs.
The duo, who have been credited with elevating country music in the UK, will also share the stories behind their songs.
The duo rose to prominence with their 2016 album Cartwheels, which became the first album by a UK country act to top the UK Albums Charts.
The sisters are embarking on a 22-date tour across January and February, taking fans back to their early days of performing and writing together.
The pair recorded their debut album, 'From Where We Stand', in 2014 while still in school.
Their impact on the UK Country and Americana scene was further recognised in 2019 when they received the Country Music Association’s Jeff Walker Global Achievement Award.
