CELEBRITY gardener Monty Don has given fans an update after he was rushed to hospital and forced to cancel his tour dates.
The Gardener's World star, who is based in Herefordshire, revealed on Wednesday (November 27) that he had been suffering from a mystery illness and had been to A&E. But in a new post on Thursday (November 28) he announced he was "getting better".
Sharing a photo of his frost-covered Herefordshire garden at Longmeadow, Don wrote: "Morning #gettingbetter" on his Instagram.
His followers once again rushed to send the star their best wishes, telling him to "rest up" and sending their "love and hugs".
Don posted a video apologising for cancelling tour dates last minute, explaining he had been taken to A&E over the weekend.
He said he was monitored in hospital for three days but did not reveal the cause of his hospital stay.

Sat cuddling one of his beloved dogs in the video posted yesterday, Don said: "I am so sorry to have disappointed all those people who were going to come and see me in Exeter and Truro and Bath and Nottingham.
"But on Friday afternoon I was rushed to A&E. I was kept in the hospital over Saturday, Sunday and Monday and had to have drips and all the rest of it.
"But I came home last night, I'm feeling much better and going to spend the next few days quietly recuperating here at home.
"Hopefully by the weekend, I'll be back to full fitness."
